Doesn't this old Campfire tin bring back summer memories, I found this "little gem" while yard saleing!!!!
I bought the little shadow box frames at the store for under $2.00 each, painted an ocean blue color in the background, attached fragments of shell in them and they reside on my bathroom wall.
I bought this old diamond edge saw blade at an auction a few years ago for $ 4.00 and turned it into a huge clock for my living room. I gave it a couple coats of white paint, left the edges distressed, painted the numbers and picture on, went online and found a store that sells HUGE clock mechanisms, put it all together and it works like a charm.
I found this charcoal drawing at our local thrift store....it was barely attached to a frame which I think was actually what the were selling!!!! A new frame and wa la!
These are ancient little christening dresses I found at yardsales.
This was an old wash stand that was painted an awful green color and was missing the door on the front, so I gave it a new paint job, had my brother-in-law make me a new door frame and I made the stain glass piece for the door. I added new hardware and this piece now used as a place for cook books, kitchen gadgets and doubles as a liquor cabinet.
This was an old phono-graph stand, the inside was empty so I cut glass and put the pieces in as shelving. I painted the geese on the front but never touched the rest of the cabinet as I looooooooved the look already created over the years!!! I use it as a very large jewellery box!
Recycled window headboard

I made this headboard for a king size bed from old windows. The curved top was cut out of a board I had laying around and mirrors were added!

"It's All About Me", what I like...........dusty country roads, stone houses, old abandoned buildings, the sound of a slamming screen door, the distant purr of a lawn mower, the smell of fresh cut grass, warm summer breezes and best of all ........."junking"!
These are a few photo's i've taken along the way...enjoy!
